Automations & connected control

Your show.
Your controls.

Run a cue from a shortcut. Put a transition on a controller. Let a compatible AI client inspect the production. Choose how much control each connection gets.

Start with Run of Show

On your device

Shortcuts

Turn a cue, transition, mute, or framing change into a shortcut. Combine actions and bring them to your iPhone Action Button.

Build a shortcut

OSC / UDP

OSC

Send precise commands from a controller or production tool. Start with a Cut button, then expand into sources, macros, presets, and cues.

Use OSC

Model Context Protocol

MCP server

Give a compatible AI client access to current production state, with separate permissions for changing the show and starting outputs.

Connect a client

A practical starting point

One button.
The next moment.

Prepare your cues in Run of Show, then create a shortcut containing Next Cue. Use it from Shortcuts or assign it to a supported iPhone’s Action Button.

Build the workflow

Before you connect

Keep control intentional.

Configure network services in Settings → Automation. OSC, ATEM, and Videohub control require the switcher to be running. MCP is available while the app is running, subject to iOS background limits.

For network control, both devices must be able to reach each other. Enable services on networks you trust. Bonjour advertising helps supported controllers discover the app; turning advertising off does not disable direct IP connections.

Under Allowed in View Only, choose which automation tools may still change the production. MCP also has its own production and output permissions. Test your controls before using them during a live show.
